How does the solar air conditioner get powered? Do I still need grid electricity?
Puremind solar air conditioners are designed to be powered by solar energy. Some models may also support connection to grid electricity. During cloudy days or at night, the unit automatically switches to grid power to ensure continuous cooling or heating. The system accepts a DC voltage input ranging from 30 V to 300 V, making it compatible with most photovoltaic solar panels.
How does a Solar Split AC work?
Our DC/AC hybrid solar split air conditioners operate in three modes:
Direct Solar Mode (DC): Powered entirely by solar panels during the day.
Hybrid Mode: Switches automatically between solar and grid power depending on sunlight availability.
Grid Mode: Uses grid electricity at night or during low sunlight.
This flexibility ensures uninterrupted cooling while maximizing solar efficiency.
What is the difference between a DC and a hybrid solar AC?
DC Solar AC: Runs only on direct current (DC) from solar panels. Best for off-grid setups.
Hybrid Solar AC: Automatically switches between solar DC and grid AC power, ensuring seamless performance day and night.
Both types are inverter-driven for high energy efficiency and low noise.
